Unity World Headquarters at Unity Village serves spiritual seekers and Unity constituents through prayer support, publications, education, retreats and events, and online resources. Unity Worldwide Ministries (UWM) serves Unity ministers and leaders, Unity spiritual communities, and other ministries, providing program materials, resources, and educational initiatives.
President and CEO
Charlotte has served as president and chief executive officer of Unity since July 2006. Previously, she was chair of the Management, Marketing, and M.I.S. Division at the Helzberg School, Rockhurst University, and a visiting professor in Peking University's International MBA program, Beijing, China. Charlotte has also owned her own consulting business, WiseWork, and has held senior management positions in financial services and energy organizations. She is the author of Quantum Leaps: 7 Skills for Workplace Re-Creation (Butterworth-Heinemann, 1999) and co-author of The NeXt Revolution: What Gen X Women Want at Work and How Their Boomer Bosses Can Help Them Get It (Davies-Black, 2005) and Good Business: Putting Spiritual Principles Into Practice at Work (Unity House, 2010).
Rev. Lynne Brown
Vice President, Silent Unity and Development
Lynne is an ordained Unity minister and is deeply honored to serve as vice president of Silent Unity and Development. She has served in various capacities at Unity World Headquarters for more than 33 years. Lynne is focused on spiritual enrichment in people’s lives, believing it is quickened through prayer and other sacred practices. She is grateful for every opportunity to be of service and to help make a difference in the lives of others. Unity Worldwide Ministries recognized Lynne for her longstanding service in Silent Unity and presented her with the Myrtle Fillmore Award in 2010. To be of good service, Lynne is engaged in professional development and earned an Executive MBA at Rockhurst University in 2011.
Vice President, Communications Group
Mike's background includes executive management positions in the marketing, publishing, technology and media production industries. Over the course of his career, he has held the following positions: director of direct marketing for Plattform Advertising, director of publishing services for Allen Press, Inc., director of marketing for Advanstar Communications, and senior marketing manager for DST Output. Mike has chaired not-for-profit boards and donates time to his community's strategic development committee. At Unity, Mike oversees the Marketing, Communications, Online Development, Publishing, Internet Radio, A/V, and New Media Teams.
Chief Financial Officer
Bruce has more than 20 years' financial management experience in the for-profit sector. With corporate assignments in North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Switzerland, Bruce joined Unity in 2000 and is responsible for Accounting, Control, Finance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, and Facilities.
Vice President, Education and Events
Prior to joining Unity, Ted served as campus executive officer and provost for adult professional studies at Ottawa University in Kansas City. Ted is a board member of the C.O.R.E. Council of the Center for Spiritual Living in Kansas City. He brings a variety of experiences to Unity, including business ownership, leadership in public and private education, and civic leadership in Overland Park and Kansas City. He has a B.A. and M.A.T. from the University of Iowa and is a graduate of the Drake University Law School.
Gae L. Lennan
Director, Information Technology
Gae's responsibilities include Network and Telecommunication Services, Application Services, and the Project Management Office. She began her career as an application developer and has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology field. Gae received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Missouri where she studied computer information systems. She also earned an MBA from the University of Kansas.
