Unity is a positive, practical, progressive approach to Christianity based on the teachings of Jesus and the power of prayer. Unity honors the universal truths in all religions and respects each individual's right to choose a spiritual path.

Our Values

Unity

Unity is a center of spiritual light for people of the world. We are dedicated to letting this light shine so brightly that people become more aware of their spiritual nature and express it in their daily lives. We address physical, mental and emotional needs through affirmative prayer and spiritual education. We serve those who seek inspiration and prayer support as well as those who use Unity teachings as their primary path of spiritual growth.

Core values are the foundation of the organization and vital for it to be successful; the organization's ideals; nonnegotiable; fundamental for organizational coherence.

Spirit-Led: We are centered in God. Spirit leads our thoughts and actions as we co-create a world that works for all.

Integrity: We act from a place of wholeness and are ethical in all our actions. We keep our word.

Diversity: We believe that all people are created with sacred worth. We promote greater understanding among people in a spirit of unity.

Our Association of Unity Churches International is dedicated to supporting and strengthening its member ministries, which in turn provide this supportive community, in places across the globe. Our leadership, human resources, administrative and education programs all work to give local churches the skills and tools needed to support individual transformation. Without our work, Unity churches would not exist.

We are a worldwide network of ministries, ministers, teachers and church members sharing the vision and aim of furthering the Charles Fillmore tradition of "Practical Christianity" as demonstrated by Jesus Christ.

You're not alone! Unity offers many resources for those who consider themselves Christian but are questioning traditional Christian beliefs and seeking alternative approaches. It's important to note, however, that Unity does not simply replace one dogma with another. We offer and suggest different interpretations and perspectives, but we do not "tell" you what to believe. Spiritual beliefs are deeper, fuller, and more authentic when you work them out for yourself, even as you seek guidance and inspiration from others. In Unity we encourage you to take whatever of our teachings you find helpful and leave the rest. We have some free literature we can send you to get you started, and we'll be sending this response to you by e-mail as well along with a request for your full name and address if you would like to receive this material. Questions About Unity and Christianity

I would like to know if there is someone at Unity who can answer questions regarding Christianity, the Bible and faith? I am a believer in the Christian way but have some reasoning problems with standard Christian beliefs regarding the virgin birth of Jesus, also the crucifixion and resurrection. Thanks
