NGU³ : evolve, support, serve, is a toolkit for creating NGU groups. It was created by a team of NGUers, consultants, ministers, and church leadership.
This is not just about creating a vibrant NGU group, but about creating a culture that invites young adults into leadership, meaningful involvement in the church, and their own spiritual path. It's about the church benefiting from the depth of an “all generation” congregation. It's about young adults, the church, and the community finding ways to serve each other that results in healthy relationships and growth.
There are many benefits of having an active NGU group in your community. Some of these include creating sacred rituals and experiences, learning from each other, as well as formal and informal mentoring. In community there is the chance to build leadership skills in a safe environment, as well as take on service projects.
