Educational and Inspiring Seminars
Wednesday, June 9th 1:30-5:00pm (* indicates this will be repeated on Thursday afternoon seminars)
*Operating from Expanding Circles of Compassion,
Cindy Wigglesworth and Co-Presenter Karen Epps
Learn practical application of Spiritual Intelligence and the stages of development (Spiral Dynamics) in your life and in your ministry. In this session we will do a quick review of Spiritual Intelligence, the relevance of stages to being both compassionate and wise, but then do exercises to help you identify each stage through music, video, and exercises. We'll discuss steps to take to embrace and live from the healthiest part of each stage. Specifically we will focus on how to deliver a Unity message to the 3 most common colors/stages. And we will talk about the Generational differences - especially the Millennials - and how the stages may show up as they develop. We will conclude with why this matters if you wish to become the wisest and most compassionate person you can be. (Some knowledge of Spiral Dynamics is helpful prior to attending. If possible, watch Cindy's DVD Conscious Evolution before attending, or read the article on Spiral Dynamics at
www.enlightennext.org
Why this matters for ministers:
Learn how to take a Unity message and teach it "in three colors." We will also discuss how to take full advantage of the new Unity brand - a brand that can work for all stages.
Why this matters for the public
In a complex society filled with many value systems we have to be able to hear others and communicate effectively. These skills are useful at work, at home, and at church.

*The Art & Practice of Living with Nothing and No One Against You
Gary Simmons, Th.D. and Rima E. Bonario
One of the most difficult challenges we face as Unity leaders is living with nothing and no one against us. We know in principle that there is just God, and therefore all of LIFE must be for us. Yet when it comes down to our personal and collective practice in dealing with the stresses and worries of daily life, we often live and unknowingly teach that there are valid exceptions to the Principle. The truth is that when our life looks and feels against us, our life is a mirror unto our own disconnect. The Art & Practice is a unique blend of quantum science, brain research, and spiritual principles that forming a systematic approach to repatterning consciousness. The workshop provides participants with a template for activating authentic transformation, first in them, and then within the communities they serve.
