Bookstore Ideas and Resources

I would like to recommend a vendor with a unique and affordable product. The Good Cheer Company makes affirmative puzzle shaped tokens which can be used on a keychain, a necklace or just in the pocket. One side of the piece says "I AM" and the other side has an affirmative word such as: "loved, blessed, strong, unstoppable, unique," etc. They are a quality product made of pewter. We love them at our church, Unity of Charlotte in Charlotte, N.C. Since they are small, affirmative and affordable they make great momentos that even the children can afford. Ron Troutman has been most gracious and helpful when I've ordered his products.

One of the hardest jobs I've had working for our bookstore, the Spiritual Path, is to find manufacturers of Unity-appropriate gift type products willing to sell directly to our church. For example, it took me six months to track down the Handcrafted Pewter company which makes the Prayer of Protection candle ring. They have been a big seller for us. I was only able to get that information from another retailer willing to give it to me, so when I found The Good Cheer Company and their products I was happy to pass their information on to other bookstores looking for unique gifts. We want to support small companies such as these and I'm sure a listing in your online info xchange would be a big help.
