"He said to them, 'It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth'" (Acts 1:7-8).
These are literally the final words of Jesus's earthly ministry. He's aware that his disciples don't fully understand the dimensions of the ministry to which they have been called. They assume, at best, that they will carry his message in Jerusalem, but he assures them that's only the beginning. Their work will carry them throughout Judea and Samaria—the entire world in which they live—and even further, to the "end of the earth."
If something carries guidance for you, it must mean that you are being called, as the disciples are called, to release any limitations you may be placing—even unconsciously—on your own possibilities. We may think we know what is ours to do, but we always sell ourselves short. Our spiritual purpose and spiritual possibility are infinite.
