Divine Love

Let There Be Love

Let There Be Love

Everybody loves somebody or something—sometime, somewhere, somehow. It may seem to be only one's self or one's problems—or maybe one's rigid opinions. But love must play a part in the life of every individual. It is our nature to love.

You Are Unfettered, Unbound, Triumphant, Glorious, Free

You Are Unfettered, Unbound, Triumphant, Glorious, Free

Do you feel bound by what you have been, bound by the past, bound by your lacks, bound by the picture you have created of yourself in your own mind and in the minds of others?

You can be free! You can be free from feelings of insecurity, from feelings of inferiority. You can be free from moodiness or depression. You can be free from dependence on anything in the outer for satisfaction and peace. You can be free, because this is the way God created you.

The beginning of your freedom lies in your own mind. When you let go limiting and binding thoughts, you find that conditions, persons, or circumstances no longer have power over you.

Live Fully, Love Freely

Live Fully, Love Freely

If you pay close attention to the news outlets and the talk around town (and on social media), you may quickly find yourself drawn into a state of pandemonium and fear. Fear is a natural emotion that runs through our biological systems as a result of external stimuli that we perceive to be threatening. It would be absurd to deny that fear is not a real emotion.

Perhaps the great prerequisite to meditation, or to engaging in the “love affair with God,” is the conviction that there is a Center within you and within the universe, and at that Center of convergence with the Infinite within you, your self is the emanation or image-likeness of God, and thus totally good. Charles Fillmore puts it thusly: “There is a divine goodness at the root of all existence .... No man is so lowly but that at the touch of its secret spring this divine goodness may be brought to light in him.... This goodness sleeps in the recesses of every mind and comes forth when least expected.”

Some of the clearest insights into the mysterious cosmic energy of love have been revealed by Teilhard de Chardin, the Catholic priest-paleontologist. In his concept of the whole universe and the whole human, he found love to be an attraction exercised upon each conscious element by the Center of the universe, “the call toward the great union, whose attainment is the only real business in nature.”

Love: The Heart of Wholeness

Love: The Heart of Wholeness

Love is the heart of wholeness. … Love is the power that integrates, balances and actualizes the soul. Hatred wounds and separates us. Love heals and unites. Loving oneself and others is an essential part of becoming whole. And love is the natural expression of wholeness itself.

Love and Healing
Love and healing are interwoven. Genuine love heals all human relationships. To heal a broken relationship is to replace hostility and mistrust with love and trust. Love brings wholeness to our relationships.

Be a Center of Love

Be a Center of Love

When the world around you is in turmoil, you may be confused as to where you should stand. When social issues become polarized and politicized, people may demand to know, “Are you for us or against us?” It is important to know that you need not become trapped in divisiveness. You can take a stand for unity. The one thing to be against is the tendency to react in anger and hostility, to give vent to feelings of bias and prejudice. And the important thing to be for is the way of love.
