In Stillness
In stillness, I find strength in letting go,
Release the grip on what I thought I’d sow.
No more the burden of relentless speed,
I’m in the state of just allowing indeed.
I turn my gaze to what’s within my heart,
And in this pause, I find a brand-new start.
Instead of lacking, I count my blessings now,
Each breath, each moment,
with a grateful bow.
The world may have to wait with its
demanding cry,
But here in stillness, I’ll let time slip by.
For in this sacred pause, I’ve come to see,
The beauty of just being
wildly and incompletely me.
