Laura Meade

Laura retired in 2022 from a career in the printing and mailing business, including many years proudly managing the production of Daily Word® and serving in several leadership roles. She has since expanded her career as a certified parliamentarian, in which she helps clients understand their governing documents (such as bylaws) and use parliamentary procedure (as in Robert’s Rules of Order).

She is a longtime member of Unity Center of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she was the Youth and Family Ministry director for more than 15 years and later served as an officer on the board for six years. She is currently serving on its prosperity team. She lives with her husband in Cedar Rapids and has two grown children and a young grandson.
