Rev. Tawnicia Ferguson Rowan

Rev. Tawnicia Ferguson Rowan is a lifelong learner committed to uplifting people through education and the executive minister and COO of the Universal Truth Center in Miami Gardens, Florida. She has over 20 years of experience as a professor of English literature, composition, and world religions, and she continues to teach in seminary settings. Rev. Tawnicia holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Spelman College, a master’s degree in English from Vanderbilt University, and a Master of Divinity degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center. She is passionate about literacy, spiritual activism, and womanist thought. Rev. Tawnicia enjoys reading and writing in her spare time and is the founder of Well-Written Words, LLC, and a contributing author to Women of Color Pray: Voices of Strength, Faith, Healing, Hope and Courage.
