John 14:20
"In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you" (John 14:20 RSV).
Comment:
This statement is from Jesus' extensive final discourse with his disciples, as recorded in the Fourth Gospel. Jesus indicates here that he is not unique in his relationship to the Divine. He has been teaching and demonstrating his own Oneness with Spirit, not to claim special powers, but to encourage us to embrace our own Oneness. He has previously stated that "the Father and I are one" (John 10:30). Here he expands that Truth to include all of us.
Blessings!
