Matthew 10:26 and 2 Corinthians 10:5

Comment:
I don't understand the specific request, but I'm happy to address the three passages you listed. MATTHEW 10:26—"So have no fear of them; for nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known" (NRSV). Jesus is sending his disciples out to expand his own work, and is giving them careful instructions about how to conduct themselves, and what they might expect from others. He himself has been attacked and accused, so it's a reasonable assumption that they will be as well. But there's nothing to fear, because there is no hidden agenda—no political or personal motive—in the message they carry. Everything about the kingdom of heaven is an energy of light and openness. If we are careful to keep no secrets, the work of reaching kingdom consciousness will be infinitely easier. 2 CORINTHIANS 10:5—Let's back up to verse 3 to get the full sense. "Indeed, we live as human beings, but we do not wage war according to human standards; for the weapons of our warfare are not merely human, but they have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every proud obstacle raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ" (NRSV). If we recognize that "the knowledge of God" is Paul's description of the "kingdom of heaven" consciousness that Jesus describes, we can see that Paul is, in a sense, continuing the instructions to discipleship. We do not achieve the kingdom by fighting in human terms, but by calling upon spiritual powers and resources to dissolve and destroy every obstacle raised up—often in our own consciousness—against the kingdom of heaven. The 'warfare' of achieving kingdom consciousness is internal, not external. Our vigilance must be directed against wayward negative thoughts in our own minds. We capture them and take them to the Christ Power within us to be transformed into new thoughts appropriate to kingdom consciousness. JEREMIAH 33:27—There is no verse 27 in Chapter 33 of Jeremiah. Perhaps you mistyped the numbers; if you'd like to recheck the citation and e-mail back, I'll be happy to focus on your request. Blessings!
