Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
I can do all things through him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
Comment:
This is a simple and important statement that describes the very heart of the spiritual understanding that Jesus Christ communicated to all of us through his ministry. “Him who strengthens me” is the Christ—the creative power of God that is the true spiritual identity of each of us. As Jesus noted when people tried to give him credit for the demonstrations of spiritual possibility they witnessed, “I of myself do nothing; it is the Father within that does the work.” When we recognize and fully embrace the Christ—the Father within, the indwelling Presence of God—then we can fully realize the promise of Jesus that we will do what he did, and greater things besides (Jn. 14:12). Blessings!
