"Yet among the mature we do speak wisdom, though it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to perish. But we speak God's wisdom, secret and hidden, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But, as it is written 'what no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him'—these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God" (1 Corinthians 2:6-10).

Question:

I've always felt a special bond and affinity to this scripture and others that are very similar. About a year ago when on a quest for the Essence of life, God took me on a beautiful journey that lead to a deep study of metaphysics and the wonder of who I am, including the discovery that I am an incarnated angel on earth now. My friend, unaware of this journey that I've been on, prophesied to me that God was about to place me in millionaire status because he could trust me to carry out the things that He has revealed to me over the past few years. She said that He had given me wisdom of secret things that had been hidden in dark places. She is not aware of my gifts but God had also spoken this to be before, so I found it very exciting that He had used confirmation to confirm what I believed in my heart. Nothing has happened yet, but every day I feel the time is near, but not quite understanding the delay. I've had more visions, dreams and revelations, but no tangible results.

Comment:

Paul is discussing here what he calls in his Letter to the Colossians (1:26) "the mystery that has been hidden throughout the ages and generations but has now been revealed to his saints ... Christ in you, the hope of glory." This is the very heart of the message of Jesus—that each of us is an "incarnated angel on earth now" to use your phrase. We are all the Christ in potential expression. We may be at different stages of awareness concerning this spiritual truth, but none of us is more or less connected to God than all the rest of us. Jesus did not claim uniqueness in that regard, nor should we. He was able to fully express his Christ consciousness, and he assured us that we have the same possibility within us. The process of learning how to do that, and to allow its mystery to unfold as part of a divine plan rather than in response to our human agendas, is a great, rich adventure. It's an adventure that allows us to manifest our own good, rather than wait for a distant God to provide it for us. The dramatic, powerful and loving change we need and seek is within—a change in consciousness, in how we see ourselves and all others in relationship to the Allness that is God. Once consciousness is changed, manifestations out of that consciousness will inevitably change as well. But if we measure our progress by tangible results, we may well be ignoring the intangible results that are present in consciousness.   Blessings!
