"The Lord spoke to Moses: 'See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: and I have filled him with divine spirit, with ability, intelligence, and knowledge in every kind of craft, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, in every kind of craft" (Exodus 31:1-5).

The point here is, I think, that the Lord works with each of us 'like that' all the time—guiding us to develop our own unique talents and interests. After all, the Lord isn't agreeing to do the heavy lifting. The call of Bezalel promises divine support as he expresses his own unique creative energy. The work will be his to do; the guidance and inspiration will come from Spirit. The Lord is speaking to Moses atop Mount Sinai, and he seems here to be reassuring him that this process of guidance and deliverance from the slavery of limitation won't be his to do alone. Each of us is called to assume our own important role as the spiritual journey unfolds.
