God’s Voice

God’s voice speaks to me
all throughout the day
Sometimes in the strangest
and most delightful way
A song with that special note
Maybe a poem someone wrote
Listening to a babbling brook
Finding an inspiring passage in a book
That special look in my loved one’s eyes
The sound of a small child
who sometimes cries
A leaf I pick up, the flower that grows
A rainbow, a cloud, the stars as they glow
A picture with colors, so vibrant, so bright
The moon as it glows all through the night
In everyone’s voice, I hear God again
And when I am quiet and go deep within
I hear God’s voice guiding my way
How to live my life each and every day
