Morning Walk Beatitude
By Laura Landon
As I walk, opening to the splendor of Creation:
I inhale and imagine God’s illuminating breath
I am blessed, I am one.
As I search and find God everywhere:
In sunlight grazing grasses, edging clouds, and
bathing my upturned face,
I am filled, I am fed.
As I discern and follow Divine direction;
A nudge from the leaf brushing my shoulder, a
beckoning glimmer in the distance,
I am found, I am confirmed.
As I listen for the Holy Spirit:
An inner whisper, a sigh from the breeze,
I am healed, I am whole.
