As Christmas comes, a season bright,
A glow with sparkle trim,
’Tis even more about God’s light
That shines and guides within.

A star to lead the wise men on,
For shepherds, heaven’s glow.
Glad tidings, peace on earth to dawn.
My path, as well, to show.

The candles, evergreens, and such
So brighten winter’s hue.
Yet in my heart so warm, so much
The light of Christ shines through.
