Mark, Chapters 5 Through 7
Comment:
These three chapters contain the first written narrative of the ministry of Jesus. (Matthew and Luke were written later, and John much later.) They contain teachings, parables, and demonstrations of the spiritual Truth that Jesus was intent on delivering. Like all of Mark, these chapters are written with a sense of great energy and eagerness. Things unfold rapidly, one after another. One of Mark's favorite words is "immediately," which he uses often to describe events and teachings as they unfold. It's a good idea, I think, to move through our own experiences and accomplishments with the same sense of energy and excitement.
Blessings!
