Matthew 3:11
"I baptize you with water for repentance, but one who is more powerful than I is coming after me; I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire" (Matthew 3:11).
Question:
Neville described a "liquid blue flame" that one can see during a meditation, when one is in a state akin to sleep, and can cause movement in past, now, and future to cause events to align with their desires.
Comment:
The speaker here, of course, is John the Baptist, who has been viewed as sort of a spiritual advance man for Jesus. (The many followers of John himself saw things differently.) I find Neville's images to be very useful, so I can easily see the 'second baptism' as an intense blue flame of pure Spirit. The first baptism awakens us from our forgetfulness of spiritual identity and purpose. It takes a deeper commitment to experience the blue flame of spiritual empowerment.
Blessings!
