Job 7:3
"So I am allotted months of emptiness, and nights of misery are apportioned to me" (Job 7:3).
Question:
I am reading Job and wondering why some feel Job's sin was pride. I thought it was fear.
Comment:
I think this statement from Job can be taken either way. There is definitely an aura of pride in feeling that he deserves better than emptiness and misery. And there's an underlying fear that he (Job) may not be able to handle the apportioned life experience.
