John 14:14
"If you ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14 RSV).
Comment:
This verse is from Jesus's final discourse to his disciples. He is no longer speaking as Jesus of Nazareth, but as fully the Christ. It is in the name of the Christ that we are encouraged to "ask anything." The "Christ" is our own true spiritual Self. Once we embrace that true Self, all things become possible.
Blessings!
