Health and Wholeness are a Part of You

Did you know the life of God is in every single one of your cells? This means that even if you are feeling ill or not quite yourself, God is a part of you, reminding you that you are whole no matter what.

Imagine that every little cell has a superpower within it. It is like a light that is always on, always glowing. When you have a hurt on the outside, your superpower light on the inside is still strong and perfect and bright. It never goes out even when you might believe you are less than whole. It is like a cloudy day. You can’t see the sun, but it is still there behind the clouds glowing brightly.

Did you also know that your mind can talk to your body? It is another superpower you have! If you have been thinking cloudy thoughts that seem to dim the light inside you, change your thoughts to positive thoughts like: I am strong and healthy or The light of God flows through every cell in my body. Positive words help remind you that, no matter what, your light is still bright and you are whole. You can use your mind, heart, and body to remind you that the glow of God is always present, helping you stay strong and healthy.

A Prayer for Health and Wholeness in All Children

Take a deep, slow breath, tightening all your muscles as you breath in. Hold it for a few seconds, then allow your breath to slowly seep out of you like a balloon deflating. As your breath flows out, feel your whole body relax. Now focus on the tiny little lights glowing in each one of your God-filled cells. With each breath in, the lights brighten. With each breath out, you watch as any cloudiness covering your lights flows away. Take a few more slow, deep breaths, each time seeing your lights brighten and the clouds float away until you are one gigantic body of light. Affirm that this light is your superpower! It is you and God working together to remind you that you are always whole.

A Shared Family Prayer for Health and Wholeness

Let’s take a moment to know that the life of God flows through each one of us, bringing us together in shared harmony. As we connect heart to heart and mind to mind, our lights grow and glow so brightly that all thoughts of disharmony and dis-ease are wiped away. These thoughts are no match for the light that lives within us. We are unlimited, powerful expressions of the inner glow of God.
