Hebrews 10:35-36
"Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that you may do the will of God and receive what is promised" (Hebrews 10:35-36 RSV).
Comment:
Sometimes we are persuaded—by uncomfortable circumstances or unhelpful people—that our innate confidence in our true spiritual Being is unrealistic or impractical, and that we should 'get real' and deal with the manifest world on its own terms. It is only by holding fast to that confidence that is our spiritual birthright, through the challenges of life and the negative opinions of others, that we can achieve—and live in—the new consciousness that Jesus describes as 'the kingdom of heaven.' It's always within us, he taught. And it takes confidence and endurance to make it manifest, choice by choice, in our lives.
Blessings!
